Rising Sun Honey isn’t just a name—it’s a symbol of renewal, purpose, and pride. After years of service in the Australian Defence Force, our founder found healing and grounding through the rhythm of beekeeping. What began as a backyard hobby quickly grew into a full-fledged passion, connecting nature, community, and craft in every jar.
We believe in slow, simple, and sustainable practices. Our bees forage across the Gold Coast hinterland and surrounding bushland, collecting nectar from native flowers and coastal blooms. The result? A honey that’s raw, richly flavoured, and 100% local.

At Rising Sun Honey, we believe in giving back to those who have given so much. That’s why a portion of every honey sale goes directly to supporting our veterans. By covering only the bare costs of production, we’re able to provide raw, organic honey at fair and affordable prices while creating a self-sustaining model that strengthens our community. Every jar not only delivers quality honey straight from the hive but also helps honour and support the men and women who have served.
